The huge covered ice rink at the ‘Patinoire’ in Villars is open all year round and is only 5 minutes walk from Chalet Balthazar. Ice skates can be hired and private figure skating lessons can be arranged too.
Villars boasts a successful ice hockey team who train regularly on the ice. An evening watching the 1st Team battling out one of their seasonal matches will get the adrenalin pumping. These matches pull in a lively crowd and a buzzing bar!
During the winter months there is also an open-air ice rink at Barbelouse which is very popular with smaller children.
