About Chalet Balthazar

We discovered the magic of Villars 25 years ago – an incredible alpine playground that was as exciting in the summer as it was in the winter. Our children, Freddy and Tatty, attended “Pre Fleuri” one of Villars’ many acclaimed international schools and grew up in the mountains.

Over the years we have skied every piste, climbed a lot of peaks, swam many lakes, hiked and biked many kms and had some incredible adventures in and around Villars. We wanted to share our knowledge and deep love of this magical place with other families and in 2007 we bought and rebuilt Chalet Balthazar in one of the best locations in Villars.

We know how important it is to have a comfortable and
